There’s nothing like a huge blanket scarf to keep you warm on those brisk Winter days. Though we are not going outside as much as usual, scarves are still by far one of my favorite cold weather accessories! Below I’ve rounded up a few different styles that have caught my eye and could definitely make easy transitions into your wardrobe. Don’t forget to the click the images to shop my picks and until next time!

Though a lot of the same trends pop up year after year, I don’t think there’s any problem with freshening up on the seasonal pieces we love! That being said, I’ve rounded up a few of my personal Winter essentials with a bit of a twist. Faux fur coats don’t appear to be going anywhere, but why not switch things up with a bold shade or color-blocked version for added interest. Similarly, the snakeskin boot was definitely a favorite over the last couple years, but how about a croc-print for my daring fashionistas out there? In regards to more classic items, you can never go wrong with a neutral wool scarf and leather trousers for a timeless, chic look. Let me know what you think of my picks in the comments and don’t forget to click the images to shop directly. Until next time!

Satin and silk scarves have been quietly leading the pack as one of the most popular Spring/Summer trends. Aside from adding delicate elements to any ensemble, I also love that they can be worn in a variety of ways. Whether in the form of accessories, or eye-catching tops, these printed pieces are definitely sticking around for the long haul! Check out the options I’ve rounded up below and don’t forget to click the images to shop my picks. Until next time!

Have you ever worn an outfit that literally made you feel like the coolest person in the room? Well, this was that look for me! I am definitely no stranger to jumpsuits, but this time I wanted to try and expand my styling capabilities. As we all know, one-pieces like these are basically all-encompassing outfits so it’s really the accessories that are relied upon to make the statement. Since we are finally getting a glimpse of Summer weather, I was excited about the reality of not having to layer a t-shirt or turtleneck under this garment. To highlight the deep v-neck design on both front and back, I did however throw on a racerback lace bralette for a touch of feminine flare. Recently, I’ve noticed the incorporation of silk/satin scarves becoming increasingly popular as accent pieces for various ensembles. Whether worn in one’s hair, on a bag, or as a necktie, this trend appears to be sticking around this season. When I came across this vibrant red printed option, I knew it would be the perfect eye-catching element to add to this look; so needless to say, I went with the latter option in regards to styling.  For footwear, while I do love my heels, I chose to keep it casually classic with my AF1s which ended up complimenting the slightly cropped hem of the jumpsuit in the best way; if I do say so myself. There really is nothing like breaking out a fresh pair of white sneakers on a bright Summer day and I look forward to wearing mine as much as possible this year! Finally, to complete the ensemble, I wanted to include a piece that I had been holding onto for months! This shearling fanny pack solidified my 90s athleisure vision and made me feel like heading to every Kith and sneaker store in Soho, lol (jokes, but you get the idea)! All in all, I loved how this look touched on so many style genres and still left me feeling comfortable, cute, and effortless. As a girl who’s never really been a sneaker wearer, it’s interesting to me that as of late, they’ve been capturing my attention in a new way. While I don’t see myself jumping on the bandwagon entirely, I definitely see my collection growing and a new personal excitement developing with it. That being said, before I got too carried away, I wanted to make sure that my closet was equipped with the classic “staples”– and for me, that was everything either black or white. Because of my love for contrast, I typically don’t shy away from what some would consider “odd pairings,” and this look was no different. Dresses (and skirts) styled with sneakers, for me,  are just one of those classic combinations that I don’t think I’ll ever stop wearing. The juxtaposition of femininity against more casual and edgy pieces has always intrigued me and also served as a lane that I’ve always felt comfortable in. I actually bought these kicks as a Christmas gift to myself and knew that they would quickly make their way to my blog; I just didn’t know when, or with what look. After doing some post-holiday sale shopping, I stumbled across a tomato colored satin dress with buttons down the front. Initially I picked it up and thought about leaving it in the store, but for some reason I kept going back to it and eventually decided to make the purchase. Because of the white and black design on the snaps of the frock I knew immediately that it would coordinate well with my sneakers, but the look still felt incomplete and not necessarily reflective of the Winter season. After a bit more deliberation and what I thought were successful shopping trips, I ended up just finishing off the look with items from my own wardrobe. I had been on the hunt for red and plaid scarf that slightly resembled wrapping paper since the temperatures started to drop in 2018, and because I’ve been wearing it almost every day since, it seemed like the perfect accessory to convey the cozy vibes I was looking for. I didn’t end up loving the initial outerwear garment that I had bought for this ensemble, but to my surprise I dug up an old college biker jacket that meshed perfectly! It’s always funny to me that the looks I have the least faith in, always seem to come together seamlessly despite my mini panic attacks in the moment. Comment below your favorite choice of footwear and your go-to way to style it. Until next time!

Tis’ the season to be cozy! Though I am a person who loves all 4 seasons (some more than others), during the Winter months, I enjoy taking full advantage of all of the cute accessories that are both practical and stylish. Below I’ve rounded up a few essential pieces that I currently own and are my go-tos when trying to survive the frigid temperatures. Let me know which is your favorite in the comments, and until next time!

I’ve always admired the chicness that comes with styling a monochrome look, however up until this point I haven’t had the best luck pulling it off or finding a color that would be fitting for my style. That being said, after a bit of intense retail therapy, everything seemed to “Fall” into place. During this time of year, dark tones such as burgundy, wine, cranberry, and maroon annually leave a lasting impression among retailers everywhere so it wasn’t particularly hard to find pieces that would work for this ensemble. The first item I fell in love with were these coated denim trousers that honestly fit like a dream! I’m a huge fan of mixing textures within my looks so it was no surprise that I was instantly drawn to these pants and definitely plan to get my full wear out of them over the next few months. At this point I was beginning to think about forfeiting my original idea and just style a look that tailored more towards color-blocking, and then I saw it. This mock-neck sweater literally matched my jeans perfectly and created a timeless silhouette that pulled this look together in the most effortless way. While I could’ve continued with matching accessories, I wouldn’t be true to myself if there wasn’t at least a little bit of contrast. For shoes, I decided on a pair of nude suede pumps that in my opinion really made the rich color of the overall outfit pop. Though I didn’t choose a layer of outerwear to style, I grabbed an old scarf and used it as a shawl for an extra bit of dimension. I finished off the look with my favorite ombre aviators and was ready to go! This look came together better than I had anticipated and will definitely remain a trend that I will be revisiting in the future. Comment your thoughts on monochrome and Autumnal looks, and don’t forget to share this post if you’d like. Until next time!

One of the reasons why I love fashion so much is because it allows for freedom of expression and an overall fun, confidence boosting experience. Yet with that being said, still, “the fashion gods that be” try to attach rules and regulations; but we all know rules are meant to be broken 😉 . For a long time one of the major fashion DON’TS was denim-on-denim. Currently though, it is a trend that is highly celebrated and much less despised…if done correctly of course. In my opinion, the key to successfully executing an all denim look is pairing together pieces that provide enough of a contrast in color, so as not to look like the dreaded “Canadian tuxedo.” I wanted the focal point of this 70’s inspired western look to be my dark wash flare jeans. In order to compliment the warm tones associated with the fall and keep the retro vibe, I used my Mom’s suede embellished headband as a scarf and my tan block heels for height. I must admit, I am quite pleased with this trendy look and look forward to more mildly cool days so that I can continue to provide some fall fashion inspiration!
