I can’t believe we’re at the end of yet another year! With Christmas right around the corner, the only thing I’m focused on is maintaining my peace, while staying present and grateful this festive season. This year, I began a new video series showcasing my weekly office outfits over on Instagram and this one actually made the cut! Though I did opt for different footwear (specifically, boots) when I initially wore this ensemble, it made quite the statement at this year’s holiday party! Red has been one of the main standout colors of 2023, so it was only right that I share my own interpretation when the occasion presented itself. A great benefit to wearing vibrant hues is that they are so eye-catching, your outfit will always look elevated regardless of how simple it actually is. To take it a step further, a bold monochrome pairing adds a streamlined chicness no matter how bright or muted the color palette. So long story short, all it took was a mock neck sweater and satin midi skirt to create a seemingly well thought out look. Now, of course I couldn’t just stop there! In efforts to stay on theme, I knew from the start that I’d be accenting the crimson tones with elements of silver. Starting with my shoes, these demure closed toe heels have been an absolute staple in my wardrobe from the moment I bought them! They provide just enough interest and shine, while still remaining subtle enough to compliment a variety of styles whether formal or casual. In preparation for all of the upcoming festivities, I found myself wanting to update some of my costume jewelry pieces; and from the moment I saw these earrings, I was sold! In all honesty, though I did love them, I couldn’t help but feel like maybe the “shoulder-grazers” were a bit too much; but there was only one way to find out. After receiving them in the mail and trying them on with a few of my closet favorites, I knew I had made the right decision and could not have been more pleased with how this look turned out! As a final touch I added my everyday rings, a beaded bag to match, and was fully ready for a merry evening with family, friends, or even coworkers! Comment below if/where you’d wear this outfit, along with your favorite featured item. Until next time!

There’s something about the combination of feminine and sporty that I’ve really grown to become a fan of. I think it’s something about the juxtaposition of pieces that adds an unexpected twist to any ensemble, leaving it slightly more intriguing than a look containing one cohesive style genre. I came across this particular dress during one of my visits to see my parents and knew instantly it would make for an incredible blog post. The bold color, dainty floral pattern, cut and fabric, really checked off every box for me in terms of being an item I knew I had to have. Though I didn’t leave with the gorgeous frock that particular day, I made sure to pick it up as soon as I got back to NYC! Upon trying it on, I was instantly drawn to the romantic feel of the piece as well as the effortless movement the dress created as I walked. That being said, since it was such a feminine item, I knew I wanted to incorporate something that was a little different; however I wasn’t exactly sure how it would manifest. After a few trials of different heeled shoes that were either too obvious or in my opinion underwhelming to the look overall, I remembered I had also just ordered a few pairs of shoes (thanks dad) that would be coming in the mail soon. After receiving the different styles of footwear, it wasn’t until the day of my shoot that I decided to take a chance and finish off the look with a pair of bright tomato colored sneakers. For me, this was a risky move because I wasn’t sure if the ensemble would become over-saturated with color; yet to my surprise, it was the perfect touch! At this point everything was pretty much to my liking but I wanted to add something that would complete the look as well as break up the red hues. The round ring-handled bag I chose was the best accessory I could find as it pulled out the cream shades in the dress’ print and really gave the outfit the pop I felt was missing. With so many favorites to choose from it would be impossible to rank, but this look may definitely take the lead for the Spring/Summer seasons. Comment below your opinion about mixing clothing styles and if you would try a similar look yourself. Until next time!

Outfit inspiration can come from anywhere whether it’s the runway, strangers on the street, an ad, or your very own friends and family. This particular ensemble was a recreation of a look I saw styled on a mannequin while out of town that I completely fell in love with! Overall, I loved the randomness of the mixture of items as well as the classic casual pieces that were thrown in for an effortlessly cool vibe. Track pants have been trending for quite a few seasons, and while I already have a black pair in a more tailored style, I thought it was time to finally get my hands on the real thing. I love these trousers because while they make an obvious statement with their bold red hue, they can also be worn in a variety of ways. For this look I chose to pair my trousers with black court shoes to dress them up and though I was initially looking for a blouse, ended up styling a graphic t-shirt for a more relaxed and playful look. So as not to keep the look too dressed down, I chose to finish off the outfit by layering a navy blazer for a “smart” and chic element. With so much going on, I didn’t want to incorporate too many accessories because I felt it would be slightly overwhelming for the already eye-catching look. Though fairly different pieces, I liked how the white accents on each article of clothing worked to create a seamless and cohesive looking outfit. I also thought the incorporation of primary colors (red, blue, & yellow) really made an unexpected statement that I’m not used to, but happy I decided to experiment with. Comment below if you’re a fan of incorporating athletic pieces into your everyday style or if you choose to solely keep them for the gym and other fitness related activities. Until next time!

With spring comes warm weather, and warm weather brings tons of outdoor activities! I decided to switch gears and create a more casual look for the “girl on the go” who can easily make the transition from brunch to the park. The first piece I came across during my shopping trip was a mismatched button up. I was instantly drawn to the contrasting striped pattern which made the top incredibly eye-catching and unique in comparison to the average dress-shirt. From this point I was pretty set on finding a pair of jeans to complete this look but to my surprise that task ended up being much harder than I had expected. For whatever reason, I simply couldn’t find a pair of denim that satisfied my vision for this ensemble and after hours of searching I was ready to give up and recycle something from my existing wardrobe. In a last stitch effort however, I paired the top with a light wash denim midi skirt, and instantly knew I had found what I was looking for. To offset the more feminine pieces, I chose to wear a pair of sneakers which added a cool “tom-boy” vibe to the overall look. Lastly, I decided to try something new and take a risk with an accessory that has been trending for the last few seasons. I was never really interested in the idea of a fanny pack, however I’d be lying if I said the practicality of the item didn’t somewhat intrigue me. That being said, I decided to introduce a pop of color with a bright red waist bag that ultimately tied the entire outfit together seamlessly. This was a very simple look; however I loved the mixture of smart and casual pieces. I definitely plan on creating more day to day styles with similar elements in the upcoming seasons and I also plan to get the most use out of my new bag! Comment below your opinion of fanny packs and whether you think they can be chic given the right styling. Until next time!

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I figured I’d gather a few items that I would personally wear whether out with the girls or on a date with that special someone. Though I tried to incorporate the classic red and pink garments, I don’t think it’s always necessary to wear themed colors for every holiday. “Tis’ the season to be jolly… ” and that, I most certainly am! The warmth and joy that this time of year brings, is honestly something I don’t think I’ll ever stop being excited for! Given the fact that Christmas is literally days away, I knew I wanted to style a look that was festive but I didn’t have any specific pieces in mind. After a pretty hectic shopping trip around the city, I had a decent haul of items that unfortunately could be paired in so many different combinations I was left with quite the dilemma. My initial thought was to pair the glittery bronze midi dress with a blazer, but the tones ended up being a bit too similar and it left the ensemble feeling quite dull. After getting the pieces home and clearing my head, I remembered that I had recently purchased  a red sweater that I had yet to shoot in! Suddenly everything began to fall into place as I layered the chunky knit over the frock and found an old belt to cinch the waist giving the look a more feminine shape. Because I was wearing such a bold color, I wanted to keep my makeup and accessories very neutral and subdued. For footwear I chose a pair of closed toe heels with cross strap detailing, that I definitely think added an extra bit of interest and chicness to the outfit. Overall, I feel like this would be the perfect look for a celebratory family dinner, office party, or even a holi-date, (get it?) lol. With only a few weeks left of the year, I just want to spend my time around the people I love while reflecting on my journey and growth thus far. Most importantly, I’d like to spend this time being happy and continuing to find ways to become my best self– while staying well-dressed of course! I hope you guys are having an amazing holiday season and enjoyed this look. Until next time!

I’m a full supporter of stepping outside of your comfort zone when it comes to personal style and I kid you not, this look literally almost made me want to re-do my ENTIRE wardrobe. I am utterly OBSESSED with how this look came out and slightly surprised that I was able to pull it off so well. A lot of the international girls I follow rock this type of “cool girl” look. To me, it’s a style that screams “I can hang with the boys, and still be one of the most stylish girls in the room.” I’ve always admired the casual yet effortless confidence that always seems to come with this type of ensemble and it wasn’t until now that I’ve been able to try it out for myself. In all honesty, it wasn’t even my intention to style an outfit like this, it just kind of…happened. I had been wanting to style a jumpsuit on my blog for what feels like months and for some reason, I wasn’t finding anything that really sparked my interest. During my most recent shopping trip, however, my luck seemed to change. This amazing one-piece features a cut out detail, d-ring belt, and contrasting white stitching that was so unique to anything currently in my closet, I knew I had to have it. As this was obviously the showstopper of the look, I kept the surrounding items simple while still playing off of the jumpsuit’s casual edge. I’ve been loving thin knits this season especially when it comes to layering, and this nude option was the perfect addition to this outfit as well as an all around wardrobe staple. To my surprise, I was also able to find a bag that almost perfectly matched my top and helped tie all of the details together. For shoes, it was a no-brainer that I would be wearing sneakers as I couldn’t possibly see this look being as cool with any other type of footwear. That being said, I decided to rock my classic “Superstars” which seemed to perfectly describe how I felt! To finish off the look, I added a bold red lip and some rosey tinted frames for an extra pop of color. I know I say this often, but I’m going to officially go on record to say that THIS is my favorite look of 2017! I felt like this ensemble pulled out a side of my personality I didn’t know was there and it was honestly refreshing as well as exciting. It’s funny how sometimes you don’t realize how stuck in a rut you are with your style until you do something completely different. What I loved the most about this outfit was, as “out of the box” as it was, I still felt like Me. This look ignited a fire within my creativity and I definitely plan on experimenting with more outfits in the near future! I really hope you guys enjoyed this look and stay tuned for more holiday posts coming soon. Until next time!

The hotter it gets, the simpler I want my outfits to be. When shopping in preparation for this shoot, I really didn’t know what I was looking for, however I was certain that I wanted to stay away from prints. After trying on a few pieces, this bold tomato colored midi dress was the unanimous winner! Aside from the stunning color, I loved how simple and elegant this dress was without being too showy. To me, this was the perfect “I have nothing to wear” garment– one of those items that you can throw on with a few accessories, and instantly look put together. Because I wanted to apply the overall effortless and minimal vibe of the dress to the entire look, I chose simple pieces to pair it with. I’ve recently been seeing these cross-body bags with gold ring handles almost everywhere but I wanted to wait until I found the one that best suited my personal wardrobe before hopping on the trend; and it was well worth it! Aside from going with absolutely everything, this bag provides a chic edge to any outfit it is styled with. For shoes, I decided to wear my nude and black block-heeled sandals, which I felt nicely tied all elements of the look together without creating too harsh of a contrast. I was honestly very pleased with how this look turned out and feel like I may want to add a few more dresses in this style to my collection. After all, there’s nothing like feeling easy, breezy, and beautiful on a sunny Summer day. Until next time!

Colorful jeans were a pretty huge trend in the early 2000’s and I can distinctly recall my closet becoming a rainbow of denim, especially during my high school years. Once again however, we are seeing yet another moment in fashion history resurface and fall right back into our wardrobes. Since last year, you may have noticed that yellow has become a very popular statement color, but it’s fellow primary hue, red, isn’t far behind. I never would’ve guessed that I’d find myself gravitating towards a pair of bright red trousers, but I couldn’t resist these fiery beauties. Recently, I feel like I’ve been on a straight leg raw-edge denim binge, so it didn’t take much convincing for me to realize that I needed yet another pair. During the same weekend that I purchased these pants, I stumbled upon these gorgeous black and white buckled heels. It’s so funny sometimes how you can go into a store knowing exactly what you came for, and walk out with something totally different. That said, I personally feel like I made an even better decision and was thrilled when I saw how amazing these pieces looked together. When searching for a top however, I found myself at a standstill. I was completely torn with the style and direction I wanted to go in, so to make things easy I decided on a more “vintage” item that I hold very dear to my heart. I bought this Jimmy Hendrix tee during my first trip to LA when I was only 16 and it still remains one of my favorite items! Even through all of the trends and fashion “rule book” changes over the years, this t-shirt has always found a way to compliment my style and I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it. To finish off this look I accessorized with a gunmetal rhinestone choker and a white slogan clutch for a bit of lighthearted interest. I loved how this look turned out and I definitely plan on making these red hot jeans a wardrobe staple this season. The color “red” has really made a vibrant statement in fashion this season. While it is one of my favorite colors, I never really found myself experimenting with it in my personal wardrobe until recently. To me, red is such a confident and bold shade and I love that it brings that energy to any ensemble or individual daring enough to rock it. Below are some of the pieces that have caught my eye. Happy shopping! (Don’t forget to click the images for direct links to shop the items!)
