When I think of NYE, most of the time an elaborate celebration featuring over the top outfits and partying until the early hours of the morning comes to mind. That said, there are multiple ways one could bring in the new year. For that reason, I decided to style a festive look that would be more appropriate for an at home celebration or something that is just overall more low-key. Coincidentally, when I stumbled upon this particular top, I was actually shopping for garments for my Christmas blog posts. I had also been invited to a holiday party that same weekend so I figured it would make for an easy option to throw on for that event as well. Though I was hesitant about whether I would actually wear it, by the time I got home and tried it on I was convinced! I loved that this metallic blouse wasn’t so obviously silver or gold, which gave me room to play around with the jewelry I decided to pair it with. Additionally, and probably my favorite thing about this piece; it’s reversible! Having the option to wear the plunging neckline in either the front or the back was definitely a bonus and made this purchase that much more worth it! For bottoms, I chose an old vinyl pair of trousers which in an interesting way, still highlighted the sparkle of my top and complimented it perfectly. While I had previously worn silver accents, for this shoot I decided to try gold jewelry and was pleasantly surprised with how everything came together. Since my hair was up, I sported my newest stud earrings and matching pendant as well as an assortment of gold rings. Lastly, for one final element of glitz, I chose to wear my gold-capped black pumps to seamlessly complete the look. Since we used a hotel setting for this photo shoot, my vision of a cozy NYE curled up on the couch surrounded by candles truly came to life! I’m still not quite sure what I’ll be doing this year, but at least I know if I stay in I can still look a bit festive. Comment below whether you’re more of a homebody or prefer to be out on the town for NYE. Until next time!

As a frequent shopper, I can easily spot an item that I know for a fact will not need additional or complimentary items to make a statement. Some pieces are just so eye-catching that the look is nearly complete as soon as the garment is put on; and this 80’s inspired frock was the perfect example of this. As we’re nearing towards Fall, I was instantly drawn to the dark floral print; but it wasn’t until I really examined it that I fell in love with the overall shape and structure. The giant voluminous sleeves created almost a butterfly-like silhouette that truly made this dress a showstopper. It also came with a thick belt that really helped to highlight the juxtaposition of broad shoulders and a cinched waist. There was really nothing more that needed to be added as I didn’t want to include anything that would clash with this incredible garment. That said, my love for  accessories (mainly jewelry) has increased tremendously, so I would’ve felt incomplete if I didn’t add a few of my newly favorite rings. I decided on gold because it matched the hardware of my Melie Bianco bag I was recently gifted, and have been dying to style! The rich burgundy leather also matched the colors in the dress and will make for a great transitional cross-body as we move into the autumnal months. I finished off the look with a pair of matching hoops and my black sock boots for a sleek touch. Items of clothing like this, though a bit over the top for some, can also be extremely exciting to style and serve as novelties in your growing wardrobe collection. Comment below your favorite piece from this look, as well as the trends you’re looking forward to trying this upcoming season. Until next time!

As a blogger or “influencer,” one of the things I’ve truly begun to appreciate over the years, are the relationships I’ve built with brands. Aside from creating content I love, there’s nothing better than affirmation from brands that also appreciate the time and effort being put forth, while continuing to support your craft. I had the pleasure of working with two companies I’ve collaborated with in the past to showcase products from their new Summer collections. I’ve been a fan of Who What Wear for quite some time, and what truly amazes me about their clothing is the consistency in showcasing the latest trends in the most affordable way. As soon as I saw this abstract lemon printed bardot top, I was sold! The style was super playful yet feminine and captured the essence of the season perfectly! To keep the focus on this vibrant piece, I chose a neutral pair of tailored trousers to style it with. I absolutely loved the juxtaposition of the frilly top, with the more masculine structured pant. In efforts to keep things casual, a flat sandal instantly seemed like the way to go. To my surprise, I found the most unique pair of slip-ons featuring an interesting rope-style construction. Once the basic frame of the look was complete, I was ready to move onto accessories! Daniel Wellington is another brand I’ve had the pleasure of working with a few times, and the quality, elegance, and versatility of their time pieces never goes unnoticed. I had been gifted the perfect watch to compliment my top which featured a stark white band and rose gold hardware. For added cohesiveness, I also styled the matching rings and cuff bracelet which provided a smart, chic feel to the overall look. I decided to mix metals with a pair of yellow-gold earrings as a final touch and was ready to take on the heatwave! This look truly came together in the most effortless way and made me feel so lucky and grateful for the growing partnerships I’ve built with these brands thus far! Until next time!

While I’m not the biggest jewelry wearer, I was pleasantly surprised when I was invited to the Kendra Scott store to view their 2018 Winter collection and get more familiar with their brand and style. What I loved most about the pieces I saw was the uniqueness of the designs, as well versatility from the most ornate to the minimal and more timeless options. Below I linked a few of my favorites so don’t forget to click the images to shop my picks and if you’re in the NYC area, head to one of their locations to shop first hand. Until next time!

My favorite season is officially here and I am currently embracing all of the Autumnal vibes! This time of year is all about the various brown, orange, plum, and burgundy tones, so it was only right that I kick off this look with that color palette in mind. Though I have been quite vibrant lately, I decided to scale it back and dabble in some deeper shades. As soon as I spotted (haha, get it?) this frock, I knew that it would be the perfect piece to add to my Fall wardrobe. Though mostly black, I thought the addition of the rust colored polka dots, really elevated this dress and made it more eye-catching. The combination of short sleeves, high neck, and asymmetrical hem also added a chic sophistication that truly made this garment a “must-have” for me. In efforts to show off the open-back detail, I decided against a jacket but stayed seasonally appropriate with a pair of heeled sock booties– which are surprisingly a lot more comfortable than they look! At this point I felt like the ensemble was nearly complete, however I still wanted to add something that was a bit of a wild card. Luckily, I stumbled across a small structured bag with a giant tortoiseshell ring detail that perfectly coordinated with the pattern on the dress. To finish off the look, I chose to keep my makeup slightly more vampy with a dark lip and bronze eye.  My final accessory was a pair of emerald statement earrings by Kendra Scott, which added another pop of color and added to the Earth tones I featured with this outfit. Let me know in the comments whether or not you’re excited for the change in season, and what Fall/Winter essentials you can’t wait to pull out of hibernation! Until next time!

There are so many ways to elevate an outfit and this season statement earrings have been a huge trend. As a girl who typically keeps her accessories to a minimum, it took me a while to step outside of my comfort zone but eventually I gave in and have since become quite a fan! Whether your outfit is simple or over the top, adding a statement earring can always add an extra layer of pizzazz to any ensemble. Below I’ve rounded up a few bold jewelry pieces that have caught my eye lately. Don’t forget to click the images to shop my picks and let me know in the comments how you feel about this ear-candy trend. Until next time!

A lot of the popular trends that have been popping up on runways and in retailers everywhere stem from the 90’s era. From slip dresses, crop tops, metallics, and brown lipstick, the influence from that decade is at an all time high. Yet, the biggest trend of them all is everyone’s (including myself) new favorite piece of jewelry, the choker necklace. Personally, I love the variety of these pieces and how they can elevate any outfit no matter how minimal or intricate. Please see below for the chokers that have recently caught my eye.
