It’s so beautiful and refreshing to see everything begin to bloom and take on new life as we move into the warmer seasons; so, it was only right that I capture some of nature’s beauty and feature the gorgeous cherry blossom trees. This is the second look I styled in collaboration with the Eggie brand, and I honestly think it might have been my favorite! When I initially saw this sustainable top on the website I was drawn to it immediately. At the same time, I was also anxious to receive and find out if I could actually pull it off. To my surprise, it completely exceeded my expectations in terms of quality, fit, and overall details. Because it was white however, I was left with plenty of options in terms of what to pair it with (which is not a bad problem to have, might I add). I had recently saw and purchased a pair of cream, paper bag waist, faux leather shorts; and though I was excited to wear them, a part of me felt like maybe it was too soon. That said, I ended up taking my chances and styling the pieces together despite my hesitation. At this point, being that my color palette was so light, I wanted to find a way to even it out with a bit of contrast. I had also bought a pair of black embossed mules and decided to add them to my ensemble which brought a casual, more “daytime-appropriate” vibe. For accessories, I didn’t want to miss out on an opportunity to showcase my new mini wrist-bag; and it couldn’t have been delivered at a more perfect time! The multi-colored stripes really helped to tie in each garment as well as the shoes, to create one cohesive outfit. Lastly, no Spring/Summer look would be complete without a pair of sunglasses, so I grabbed my black cat-eye frames and the look was complete! The overall combination of feminine and edgy pieces is really one of my favorite juxtapositions, as it truly defines my style perfectly and is the foundation of a lot of my looks. Let me know in the comments your favorite part about Spring and until next time!

Though I am probably the farthest thing from a “sneaker head,” that doesn’t mean that I don’t have a small collection of go-to’s that never seem to fail me. Below I’ve rounded up the 4 pairs of kicks that I rotate on a fairly regular basis when I’m looking to add some laid back casual, and cool elements to my ensemble. Let me know in the comments one of your favorite pairs that I might not have mentioned, and don’t forget to click the images to shop my picks. Until next time!

As a girl who’s never really been a sneaker wearer, it’s interesting to me that as of late, they’ve been capturing my attention in a new way. While I don’t see myself jumping on the bandwagon entirely, I definitely see my collection growing and a new personal excitement developing with it. That being said, before I got too carried away, I wanted to make sure that my closet was equipped with the classic “staples”– and for me, that was everything either black or white. Because of my love for contrast, I typically don’t shy away from what some would consider “odd pairings,” and this look was no different. Dresses (and skirts) styled with sneakers, for me,  are just one of those classic combinations that I don’t think I’ll ever stop wearing. The juxtaposition of femininity against more casual and edgy pieces has always intrigued me and also served as a lane that I’ve always felt comfortable in. I actually bought these kicks as a Christmas gift to myself and knew that they would quickly make their way to my blog; I just didn’t know when, or with what look. After doing some post-holiday sale shopping, I stumbled across a tomato colored satin dress with buttons down the front. Initially I picked it up and thought about leaving it in the store, but for some reason I kept going back to it and eventually decided to make the purchase. Because of the white and black design on the snaps of the frock I knew immediately that it would coordinate well with my sneakers, but the look still felt incomplete and not necessarily reflective of the Winter season. After a bit more deliberation and what I thought were successful shopping trips, I ended up just finishing off the look with items from my own wardrobe. I had been on the hunt for red and plaid scarf that slightly resembled wrapping paper since the temperatures started to drop in 2018, and because I’ve been wearing it almost every day since, it seemed like the perfect accessory to convey the cozy vibes I was looking for. I didn’t end up loving the initial outerwear garment that I had bought for this ensemble, but to my surprise I dug up an old college biker jacket that meshed perfectly! It’s always funny to me that the looks I have the least faith in, always seem to come together seamlessly despite my mini panic attacks in the moment. Comment below your favorite choice of footwear and your go-to way to style it. Until next time!

As stated in my latest post this week, leather jackets are by far one of my favorite wardrobe staples. Aside from just loving their edgy and structured nature, they are super versatile and can be worn throughout all seasons. They are made in almost every color imaginable and can compliment any style. So have I sold you on them yet? If for some reason you are still missing this piece in your closet, it’s about time you fill that void. Happy shopping! To be honest, I pulled this outfit together at the very last minute; but like most spontaneous things, it ended up coming together perfectly! This look portrayed the three emotions I was feeling on this particular Saturday; casual, comfortable, and edgy. Though it was a fairly gloomy day, I still wanted to pull out some statement pieces, and this grey leather wrap skirt happened to be exactly what I was looking for! I’ve been lusting over this skirt for over a year, so when it finally came back in stock, I knew I had to grab it; and it has become one of my new favorite pieces in my wardrobe. Because the skirt has some length to it and I’m not the tallest girl in the world, I decided to balance it out by keeping the top form fitting with a mock neck, ribbed sweater. To stick with the casual theme, I opted for my white leather converses and threw on my black expletive beanie for a bit of drama and interest. Pretty much any bag would work with this look, but in efforts to keep things minimal I decided on my favorite black leather tote. I must say, I was quite pleased with this look. While it is not something that I usually go for, I may have found a new style worth experimenting with. But that’s what fashion is all about! Taking the time to evolve and break out of your comfort zone to see what looks suit you, brings a world of endless possibilities! Until next time! <3

I was very excited to style this edgy holiday look, especially since I’ve had these sequin joggers for about a year and have been dying to wear them! One thing I love about the holiday season is that you can never be too overdressed. It is a time where you can pull out all of your glitz and glam and no one will judge you for being the disco ball in every room. Aside from that, it is a period of celebration and personally, I jump at any and every chance to get dressed up! Now on to the look. Since the joggers are such a statement piece, I wanted to keep the rest of the look slightly muted so I opted for an all black ensemble and decided to experiment with different textures. I chose a snake printed lace top for added detail, and my black and white leather jacket to bring some contrast. With a bright pop of red lipstick and my minimal mules, I was ready to hit any social event around the city. This look would be a great choice for any informal setting where you can be comfortable and slightly casual with with a bit of pop! Happy holidays everyone, I will see you soon with my next holiday look!
