On this snowy day instead of staying in and hibernating, I decide to take advantage of my surroundings and style an outfit to match. One of my favorite things about being a style blogger, is finding new (or forgotten) gems in my very own closet. I’ve had this white bomber for quite some time and the fact that I have never featured it on my blog was quite surprising to me. Nevertheless, I always jump at the chance to feature a “new” item, so this was my opportunity. Recently, I’ve been sticking to a pretty neutral color palette, (black, white, grey, navy, etc.) and letting the outfit’s fine details draw in the attention. For this look it was the sheer panels on the dress and the quilted design of the leather jacket. I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about wearing white that has been really intriguing to me lately. While some see it as a huge risk, I think it is incredibly chic and while it is a struggle to keep my white pieces crisp and clean, it is a challenge I am willing to accept. Yet another casual look for the books I suppose. Until next time! 🙂

To be honest, I pulled this outfit together at the very last minute; but like most spontaneous things, it ended up coming together perfectly! This look portrayed the three emotions I was feeling on this particular Saturday; casual, comfortable, and edgy. Though it was a fairly gloomy day, I still wanted to pull out some statement pieces, and this grey leather wrap skirt happened to be exactly what I was looking for! I’ve been lusting over this skirt for over a year, so when it finally came back in stock, I knew I had to grab it; and it has become one of my new favorite pieces in my wardrobe. Because the skirt has some length to it and I’m not the tallest girl in the world, I decided to balance it out by keeping the top form fitting with a mock neck, ribbed sweater. To stick with the casual theme, I opted for my white leather converses and threw on my black expletive beanie for a bit of drama and interest. Pretty much any bag would work with this look, but in efforts to keep things minimal I decided on my favorite black leather tote. I must say, I was quite pleased with this look. While it is not something that I usually go for, I may have found a new style worth experimenting with. But that’s what fashion is all about! Taking the time to evolve and break out of your comfort zone to see what looks suit you, brings a world of endless possibilities! Until next time! <3

Before it got too cold, I wanted to make sure I styled a true “fall” look and to me, nothing compliments this time of year like a good bomber (or flight) jacket. Bomber jackets have become a true fall fashion staple over the last few years and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t a fan myself. I like the edgy vibe that they add to any look, especially when thrown over a dress or incorporated with any outfit involving a pair of heels. I chose to keep my look on the overall casual side by pairing it with a maxi t-shirt dress and accessorizing with a simple beanie and a backpack. For a slight feminine touch and a pop of color I went with a bold red lip as well. To me, this comfy look is great for weekends when running errands, going to the park, or just hanging out with friends and enjoying everything the city has to offer. Bomber jackets come in all colors but I’m definitely a fan of the classic olive green myself. Either way, I definitely think every fashion girl or guy should own one and if you don’t already; what are you waiting for?!?
